Dr. Shuaib Abdirahman Abdullahi is an experienced Sharia Advisor who specializes in Islamic finance, banking, and economics. Dr. Abdullahi has a PhD in Islamic Economics from the Islamic University of Minnesota, East Africa Branch, where his research focused on Sharia Supervision and its Applications on Somalia Banks. He also holds a Master’s degree in Sharia from the Islamic University in Mogadishu, Somalia, where he conducted research on Murabaha and its applications on Somali banks.

With a Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance from Beder international University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mogadishu University, Dr. Abdullahi has built a strong foundation in the field of economics and business administration. His expertise is further enhanced by his extracurricular activities, including various professional certificates and workshops that he has participated in, such as Certified Sharia Advisor and Auditor (CSAA) by AAOIFI, Certified Specialist in Sharia Auditing (CISSA) and Governance & Compliance by CIBAFI, and Certified Islamic Banker (CIB) by CIBAFI.

Dr. Abdullahi has also attended numerous workshops on AML/CFT Compliance Regulation and Supervision, Shariah Standards Training Program, Risk Management, Anti-Money Laundering, and Business Management, amongst others.
